About the dragonfly
This is my world in pictures! The things I’ve done, the things I love. No rhyme or reason just because!
My love of photography began with the purchase of a Canon Rebel 2000 and a Tamron AF70-300mm lens. It took a long time for me to give in and purchase a digital but I did eventually purchase a Fuji FinePix S700 and then a S1600 (my current) manly because the price was what I could afford. I love my Fuji but still I long to purchase a Canon Digital (or maybe a Nikon) and someday soon that will happen!
I admit I have no idea about aperture, shutter speed, depth of range etc I take most of my pictures on the automatic setting. I like the shots I get and someday when I get a really good camera I will invest in some training but until then I’m happy with what I snap.
I started this blog to join a couple of friends in a challenge and was inspired to continue after watching Julie & Julia (and by the encouragement of friends of course!)
So here it is, my world in pictures by an amateur photographer & blogger. Enjoy!
